Mac Chan
Mac is a distinguished Audio-Visual and Lighting Designer with over 30 years of expertise across various domains, including theme parks, concerts, mega events, convention centers, and entertainment technologies. Renowned for his award-winning theatre lighting designs in the performing arts, his work has garnered acclaim in Singapore, Malaysia, and internationally. Notable projects include the Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre, Petaling Jaya Performing Arts Centre and the newly built Sunway University Performing Arts Centre. Mac has also spearheaded significant audio-visual and media installations, such as Genting Highlands’ SkySymphony and the groundbreaking Total Media Integration Control System for Genting Outdoor Theme Park. With deep expertise in DMX and DALI control systems, Mac Chan continues to push the boundaries of what’s possible in the world of light and sound.

Lim Wai Boon
Wai Boon, a director at SCLA, brings over two decades of expertise in Electrical and Electronic Engineering. He began his career in 1998 as a Site Engineer with AFS Engineering Sdn Bhd before moving on to Integrated Audio Visual Sdn Bhd, where he honed his skills in audio-visual and ICT systems. Since joining SCLA in 2016, he has been pivotal in delivering high-profile projects like the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Genting Outdoor Theme Park, and UEM Group Headquarters. His role at SCLA as an Audio, Visual, Production Lighting, and Integrated Control System consultant has solidified his reputation as an industry leader in delivering innovative and impactful engineering solutions.

LK Leow
LK is an Associate of Architectural Lighting at SCLA, driven by a passion for bridging the gap between creative and functional lighting design. With over 20 years of experience, LK excels in delivering innovative, cost-effective lighting solutions across various sectors, including hotels, shopping malls, and corporate offices. Some notable projects include the GSC Aurum Theatre at Mid Valley Gardens, Sunway University Performing Arts Centre, and the master lighting upgrade at 1 Utama. LK has also designed the lighting for the iconic Genting Highlands Indoor Theme Park, Sky Casino, and the common lobby of Genting Highlands hotels.

Tony Lim
With a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Kolej Damansara Utama, Tony Lim embarked on his career in the audio-visual industry, honing his skills in event production and rentals from 2000 to 2005. This foundational experience in the entertainment sector equipped him with invaluable insights and expertise. Moving into the realm of extra low voltage systems and audio-visual design, Tony dedicated the next decade to crafting and implementing innovative solutions for a diverse array of projects. His impressive portfolio includes government buildings, educational institutions, healthcare facilities, hospitality establishments, and places of worship. At SCLA, Tony takes the lead in project management, system design, and team leadership, driving excellence and creativity in every endeavor.

Sarah Chow
Sarah is an Assistant Project Manager and Designer at SCLA, blending creativity with precision in every project. Since joining in 2014, she has excelled in conceptual and detailed design, 3D visualization, and architectural lighting simulation. Transitioning to also being a project manager in 2019, she has skillfully managed notable projects like Genting Highlands Skytropolis and the Sunway University Performing Arts Centre. With a keen eye for identifying client preferences and a talent for material selection, Sarah ensures that every design meets the highest standards. Her expertise in project coordination, alongside fellow consultants and contractors, guarantees seamless implementation from concept to completion.

Elaine Yap
Since joining the team in 2017, she has taken on multiple roles, adapting to the needs of each day. Whether serving as a Lighting Designer, Theatre Spatial Designer, or draughtsperson, she brings versatility and dedication to every task. She also coordinates and manages projects, collaborating closely with a strong core team. Her involvement spans a diverse range of projects, including Genting Outdoor Theme Park, Redtail Genting by Zouk, Podpadi Ubud (1, 2, and 3), Mezze Lounge, NEM Blockchain Centre, TS Law Tower at BBCC, Vanke Show Gallery at Bukit Nanas, and Sunway University CP2, among others. Elaine’s commitment to SCLA is unwavering, always ready to contribute her expertise wherever it’s needed.
