Sandee Chew is a theatre practitioner with 10 years experience focusing on lighting design, technical coordination and performance, as well as interests in audience and theatre development. In 2005, she joined The Kuala Lumpur Performing Arts Centre (klpac) as part of their start-up technical team, and worked 3 years as Technical Coordinator.

As a freelance performing arts and concert lighting designer, she has worked on various types of events at various spaces, and received a KLUE Blue Chili nomination and BOH Cameronian Arts Award. She was also selected in 2012 to do a lighting internship in Japan under the JENESYS: Invitation Programme for Creators by Japan Foundation.

At SCLA, Sandee assists with architecture lighting, theatre, AVLR and space planning designs.
