For over 27 years Nick has built a worldwide reputation for innovation in theatre and television design and cultural and museum planning. Building on his studies in theatre design at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts in Australia, Coffil’s talent lies in his ability to take the rich history of a country and re‐present it using innovative new media, materials and technology to provide unique cultural experiences.

Working closely with specialist consultants and government authorities, Coffil develops close relationships with his clients to ensure his projects have lasting benefits for the host organisation, their creative staff and their audiences.

A selected list of his clients includes Hollandische Shouwberg, Amsterdam; The Powerhouse Museum, Sydney; Muzium Telekom, Kuala Lumpur; the Chinatown Heritage Centre, Singapore; the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto; the China National Film Museum, Beijing and the British Science Museum, London.

His current work includes business and project plans for a new theatre near Angkor Wat, Cambodia, to focus on historical and contemporary Khmer culture, and as creative producer, the creation of a 3 day business and arts dialogue event in December 2008 in Chiang Mai, Thailand.
